On May 22, Nicosia witnessed a remarkable display of unity and sportsmanship as 54 participants took part in an orienteering race organized under the ORIUNITE project. The event was more than a sporting challenge — it was a journey across the city’s historic divide, beginning in the Greek Cypriot-controlled south, crossing the UN-patrolled buffer zone, and concluding in the Turkish Cypriot north.
